Ah, the horrible fuzzy noise.

I know a way to get rid of that... but can't be bothered explaining. I'll tewll you next time I see you.
Anyway, it sounds pretty good but I don't really know what to expect since I haven't seen the movies. I'm only bothering to listenh to it because I know you. (=

'tis ok

But I swear the tempo randomly increased and then went back to normal for a bit and for no apparent reason.

Squiggley-Inc responds:

I tried making it faster, like the guy said to on my GSC remix. but then everything was too fast. so I slowed it down. unfortunately, only most of it slowed. the rest wouldnt for some reason.

Yeah, shut up, it's better than mine...

But I did mine by ear so...
Anyway, it's ok but the instrument choices make it sound... well, much less epic than it should be.

Certainly an improvement!

And it was great before. You've drawn it out to a very nice length too. I'll have to download it and delete the old one now though.... You work pretty damn fast.

SockpuppetRemix responds:

lol Yeah, I don't have a life/job/whatever so I've got loads of free time. ^_^
Thanks! =D

Surprising!

I can like Drum and Bass, but a lot of it just irritates me. I saw this one was D&B and thought "Sure why not...." I wasn't expecting it to be so good. It reminds me of some of Pendulum's older stuff. Good work.

Nice.

The fact that everyone else has done it wouldn't seem like a reason FOR doing one but anyway...
It's rather nice and pleasant. You kept quite true to the original version.

Hm...Interesting...

Well, it sounds like it could be good, but it's not really well done. The guitar doesn't seem to be fluent enough and it's kind of irritating. But it actually sounds like with some work it could end up really cool.

kingkilla37 responds:

Firstly, thanks for the review. Really helps me to see people reviewing my work rather than the few who have gone and given both my recent uploads a 0 without listening. >.>

So, you think it sounds sort of.. Too staccato-ish? Do you think a more appropriate guitar choice is necessary, or do you think that the problem could simply be solved with the notation and the way each bar leads into the next?

Nice

It's pretty good, although I'm not really familiar with the Zelda games or their music.
You obviously like Hot Head Bop, that's on of my favourites too.
Out of interest, what requests are you doing?
Anyway, if you don't mind (seriously no pressure) I'd like to hear you do some more music from the Pokemon GS games (Especially the Lance Battle Music, I'm yet to hear a good version of that. I had a shot, but the result wasn't too special... I've uploaded it if here you're curious but prepare to be unimpressed...)
Anyway, I've probably gone a bit too off topic here haven't I? Ok, it won't happen again. In any case, it sounds great and I look forward to your next work.

SockpuppetRemix responds:

Thanks! =D
I do like Hot Head Bop, it's my second favorite song from DKC2. I hope I don't remix it so many times that you get sick of it though. XD Stickerbrush Symphony is my #1 favorite but EVERYONE does that song...
Requests I have at the moment are:

Main Theme (The Legend of Zelda)
Battle (Final Fantasy 7)
Mining Melancholy (Donkey Kong Country 2)
"Music from Gargoyle's Quest" {I think... it was requested via Youtube comment but some of my comments vanished for no reason...}
"More Zelda music"
"Orchestral Pokemon music"
Title (Donkey Kong (Country))
"More hybrid songs"
Snakey Chantey (Donkey Kong Country)
"More Nintendo Orchestras"
Rockface Rumble (Donkey Kong Country 3)
A song for the fan game Super Nuke Bros Melee (Although I'm not entirely sure I'm supposed to reveal what it is.)

I've been a bit lazy with my requests though. I've really got to start working hard to get them done.
I'll definitely do more G/S songs! =D I had a few in mind, including the Lance battle theme. I'll let you know when I do it. =)

Yes, the guitar does make it great.

As does most of everything else in the song. The first few times I listened to it made me shiver when the guitar came in. It's really just perfect for the song... all in all I prefer this to the original.

Oh god I suck...

Butter Building, Disco Train, the Goldenrod Game Corner, Something I recognise from brawl I think (Zelda maybe?), Luigi's Mansion, some other things that I know I've heard but can't put my finger on... grr, it's on the tip of my tongue...
Anyway, Nicely done. They all go together nicely. I wasn't expecting to hear the Game Corner in there, I love that music. Butter Building too... In fact I was listening to both today.
Ah, I've checked below. I knew I recognised some of those tracks like Tal Tal Heights, Balloon Trip, Gyromite...
Anyway, good work.

SockpuppetRemix responds:

Thanks! =D
Butter Building is actually Kirby's Dreamland Title. I'm guessing you've only heard the Brawl version of BB which had the Title Theme and Green Greens mixed into it. Anyway, you didn't do too badly. =)
